My main research topic is health related quality of life valuation in China. Generally speaking, I am going to answer 3 questions about the topic:

1.What are the urban-rural disparities in health-related quality of life in China?
2. Can individuals with a low education (most present in rural areas) validly state their health preferences using prevailing validation methods? Given that it is likely that there are pitfalls;
3.How should existing valuation methods be adapted for use in low-educated populations?
